Fanny & Chris | A Beautiful Wedding at Open Air The Glebe in Charles City, Virginia

Some weddings are simply beautiful. Others are unforgettable because of the people, the setting, and the feeling throughout the entire day. Fanny and Chris' wedding at Open Air The Glebe in Charles City, Virginia was all of those things.

With perfect weather (Was it the buried bottle of bourbon?!) , gorgeous gardens in full bloom, fields of corn a plenty and family and friends gathered from all over—including many traveling from Sweden—the day was filled with joy from beginning to end.

One of my favorite moments came as Fanny and Chris honored one of Sweden's beautiful wedding traditions. Instead of the bride being "given away," they walked down the aisle together, side by side. It was such a meaningful reminder that marriage is a partnership, with two people choosing to begin this new chapter together.

Nature played a huge role throughout the celebration. Lush floral arrangements complemented the natural beauty of Open Air The Glebe, creating a timeless and romantic setting for every part of the day. Whether surrounded by gardens, beneath towering trees, or celebrating with loved ones during the reception, every moment felt relaxed, genuine, and full of life.

One of the greatest joys of photographing weddings is witnessing families and friends from different places come together to celebrate something universal—love. The warmth and excitement shared by everyone made this wedding especially memorable, and it was an honor to capture those moments for Fanny and Chris.

Thank you both for trusting me to document such an incredible day. I wish you a lifetime filled with adventure, laughter, and many more beautiful walks together.
