"Everytime I look at you I think man, a little me"

You might have noticed that most of our family portrait sessions are either at a park or at the family home.  So we love it when clients ask for a location that’s a little different.  This one happened to be along Dock Street in the city.  But with the greenery and the trees, you wouldn’t know that you can still hear the sounds of the city!

This sweet father and son were perfectly embraced in the gorgeous morning light of downtown Richmond.  This kid loved exploring and climbing!  And I loved getting a spark of new creativity with a blank canvas that comes with a new shooting location.

Here’s a peek at our time together!

Six adults, a little one and two pups!

What's better than giving the gift of family portraits to your parents?! Nothing!

Shortly before the Holiday season, GP had reached out to me to see if it was possible to have a gift certificate made for his parents as a Christmas gift from him and his brother.  Well, come Christmas morning there parents were ecstatic about the idea of having some updated family photographs in the Spring.

Fast forward....Spring is now here and the entire family was able to meet up in Richmond for a weekend.  The weather was amazing and the Tuckahoe Plantation was an unbelievable background for these!

Usually during family sessions it's the little ones that all over the place running around and hamming it up for the camera but today it was these two crazy pups!

It's Hard Being Weeks Old..

Oh, this little guy!

We’ve now photographed Meredith and Chris's engagement session, wedding day, maternity session, and now newborn session!

It was so awesome meeting baby Nate, anytime our couples let us photograph this huge milestone, my heart grows three sizes!
