I always looks forward to getting out to shoot, add some warm weather and a really cool couple then my evenings are usually a good one. This evening I had one of them, for a November day it was quite warm in Richmond and meeting up with Magen & Drew was the icing to a good evening. I think it's been two weddings that I've photographed now that Drew and Magen were guests or actually in the bridal party so I'm pretty honored that (Amy & Matt, Katie & Phil) passed my name along because that means I'll get to see "the gang" again next year when the big day is here. I photograph all over the area with a lot of focus put towards the city, it seems that whenever I'm driving I always pass a little city park and knew it would make a nice spot for an engagement session. Magen had mentioned wanting a little more natural setting while Drew was all about being casual in the city. Starting off at the hidden park with their dogs (two of the coolest dogs ever) we utilized the great space before going downtown to make sure we got in a few for Drew with a more urban feel. To say I had a good time would be an understatement, not sure how we got anything done as we spent most of the time laughing and just goofing off. Congratulations to Drew on a great looking No-Shave November beard, it won't be there in June! Magen will shave it in your sleep! Enjoy the little preview guys!
