{ JLP } Dan & Ellen’s Wedding At The Mansion
3 Comments
Sunday morning was spent watching any possible weather radar I could find online and pretending that I knew what I was looking at, my final conclusion was that it was going to be a wet evening at The Historic Mankin Mansion. After arriving and talking it over with the wonderful staff at the Mansion, it was looking like the weather would hold off and the ceremony would go on as scheduled. Needless to say I was very happy about that as was everyone else as the weather seemed to be the talk of the day until everyone saw Ellen walk the aisle to a smiling Dan, the weather was soon forgotten. A choreographed dance by the newly married couple started off the night as everyone cheered with excitement as it was quite the dance to witness, kudos to Dan and Ellen for making it look great. I've always enjoyed photographing at Mankin Mansion as at each wedding Martin does a great job at getting the dance floor packed with friends and family having a great time. Last night was no different, it felt like at one point every guest was on the dance floor. Remember the weather? Well just as the last dance was being played it started to lightly drizzle. As everyone gathered for the final send off with sparklers, it began to rain a little bit heavier but didn't dampen the mood of saying goodbye. Enjoy the preview and have a great time in the Dominican Republic!
